Satvika Ramanathan (she/her) is an eighth grader at Clague Middle School and this is her third year working on the Cougar Star and her second year with the yearbook. In her spare time, she enjoys writing, reading, hanging out with her friends, and listening to music. She likes traveling and exploring, and she always has something to talk about.

Seventh graders Jennifer Tang and Edward Zhang in Mr. Cartman's English room on Friday getting their chromebooks out to get ready for class to start.

The skeleton in Ms. Kotlinski's room named Mr. Cartman for its beard. “The braid on the skeleton makes a funny scene,” seventh grader Judy Bai says. It's not everyday that you see a skeleton with the beard!”

Getting logged into the Zoom on Thursday to start class is Ms. Kotlinski in her science room to see the remaining three quarters of the students online.

Books labeled as “Young Adult” do not have a similar set of content which goes against the literal definition of a “genre.”
