Nishka Kalantry is an eighth grader at Clague, and this is her first year on the Cougar Star. In her free time she loves reading (Ray Bradbury and Virginia Woolf are some of her favorite authors), travelling, running, and watching period dramas, enjoys hanging out with her friends and family, improv comedy, playing various sports, and writing poetry, likes practicing violin, piano, and tolerates cooking (although she always ends up enjoying it more than she thinks she does). She is looking forward to writing for the newspaper this year!
