Erin Hunter’s “Warriors” series talks about feral cats and how they survive in the woods. This series is great for cat lovers and people who like stories from a non-human perspective. The first series, Prophecies Begin, talks about a housecat named Rusty who joins ThunderClan (one of the four clans), and becomes a wild cat.
There are nine story arcs, and there are 49 chapter books so far. There are also super editions, novellas, graphic novels, and manga. The super editions and novellas focus on characters’ backstories and events so readers can know more about details that were not mentioned in the books. The graphic novels and manga let fans have a graphic experience of how the story happened and what the characters looked like.
As a reader of “Warriors”, I think the series is really interesting and I am a huge fan of the graphic novels. I really like how the characters interact with each other, and each time I start another book, I refuse to put it down. I would give the series a 9 out of 10. The Warriors series is available in the Ann Arbor District Libraries, the Clague Library, Amazon, and Barnes & Noble.
