Summer Fridays is a skincare brand that many people including me love because its products are simple, gentle, and easy to use. I love all their products because they are very clean and good for teens. It’s also very lightweight and doesn’t smell strongly.

The brand was started in 2018 by Marianna Hewitt and Lauren Ireland, two influencers and friends.They wanted to create skincare that helps people take care of their skin without using too many complicated steps.
The name Summer Fridays came from the idea of feeling relaxed and happy, like how people feel on a Friday in the summer. The brand believes that skincare should feel calm and enjoyable, not stressful. I think they did a great job following the theme because every time I use their product, I feel relaxed and refreshed.
One of the first and most popular products from Summer Fridays is the Jet Lag Mask. This product helps keep skin hydrated and fresh, especially when skin feels dry or tired. Because it worked well for many people, it helped the brand become very popular.

Their lip butter balms are also very popular and have won many awards such as Allure Best of Beauty Award for Best Lip Balm, Harper’s Bazaar Skincare award for Best Lip Balm and many more. The brand’s lip balm is also popular inside of Clague Middle School as many students use them.

I think the summer Friday’s lip butter balms biggest merit is the scent. I feel like many lip balms on the market have the same Vanilla, Berry, Chocolate scents but Summer Fridays have their unique scents that only they can make. It’s also not greasy or too sticky on your lips. The summer Fridays lip butter balm are my favorites.
