From Dec 8- Dec 11, the book fair is taking place in the Clague Library. There are multiple shelves with newly released books or books written by popular authors. Some of the books have red stickers, which are bargain books, but for all the others, the price is on the back.
However, the book fair does not sell only books. There are boxes with items like stationary, book marks, squishies and also lots of notebooks. There are gummy bear mechanical pencils, squishy pens, stackable highlighters, cute erasers, cool notebooks, posters and more. There is also a Giving tree where if a student makes a donation of 25 cents or more, they can pull a pencil, and if it has a blue piece of tape, students win a poster.
“There’s nothing quite like seeing the students light up as they browse the shelves, discover new books, and find the perfect treasure to take home,” media clerk Allison Jeeter said. “From adventures and mysteries to graphic novels and cookbooks, there’s something for everyone. Watching students shop, share recommendations with friends, and get genuinely excited about reading makes this event really special.”
A percentage of all sales will go to the Clague Library.
