February PTSO meeting update

Clague families attended the February PTSO meeting in person at the library and on Zoom

The Clague PTSO met on Feb. 12 in a hybrid meeting.

PTSO president Leah Klass, began the meeting talking about fun night.
She thanked parent volunteer Allison Jeeter for putting on the fun night evening. Highlights were, they sold out of pizza and celebrated Lunar new year with a dragon.

Principal report
Laundry: Principal Kyron Harvell stated it is becoming hard for some families to pay for laundry and clothing.

A dryer was donated to the school and now they are looking for a washer.

8th Grade Field Trip: Mrs. Taylor is in the middle of a bottle drive and hoping for more donations for the trip.

On March 22 there will be a Science Night and more information coming soon.

Treasurer report:
$1000 in donations
$400 from PTSO thrift shop
$300 from Bushes
Parent donation / Fun Night proceeds going to 8th grade trip to Traverse City

General items:
Aron Butler was voted in as the new secretary

April 5: International Night 6-8 p.m. event for students and families—there is a sign up genius coming from Mr. Harvell as well as PTSO newsletter via email
