Q: Tell us a little about yourself.
A: “Hi! I’m Elinor Francis. I’m in 7th grade. I love art. I like manga and anime. I like reading, band, and science. I don’t like coloring, but I do like line art and basic shading. I hate pineapple, and eating cheese and meat together. My favorite animal is the opossum, not to be confused with the possum, which lives in Australia and other islands. I don’t really like romance. I hate charades and doing voices on the spot. I don’t have a fear of public speaking, though. I play the euphonium, sometimes called the baritone.”
Q: What is your favorite class and why?
A: “My favorite class is band, because I’m probably the least likely to be bored in a band, no boring lectures. I also really like the noise of band class, the sounds of music being moved, stands clanking, and people putting their instruments together.”
Q: What is your favorite hour of the day?
A: “My favorite hour of the day is the 4th hour, which, for me, is the band. Not much more to say there. It’s also right after lunch, and a lot of my friends are in that class.”
Q: What hobbies/sports/clubs do you do, and why do you like them?
A: “I run and play volleyball for sports. Never liked running all that much, but volleyball is cool. I like pretty much anything artsy, essentially.”
Q: What is something you are proud of?
A: “My family has a lot of inside jokes, they’re always fun.”
Q: What’s an interesting/unique fact about yourself?
A: “I’m left-handed. I read Dune. #533cc6 is one of my favorite colors, which is purple.”
Q: What goals do you have?
A: “I want to get a good Blue Lake sponsorship this year.”
