Q: Tell us a little about yourself.
A: “Hi. My name is Zoe. I’m in eighth grade, I’m in band, and I play the saxophone. My favorite sport is cross country, and I just love running in general.”

Q: What is your favorite class and why?
A: “My favorite class is Jazz band. I really like improvising and just playing jazz- it’s a really fun class.”

Q: What hobbies/sports/clubs do you do and why do you like them?
A: “I do cross country, basketball, winter running club and track. I do them because I love playing sports, and it’s nice to exercise with other people. I also practice my saxophone in my free time.”

Q: What is something you are proud of?
A: “I’m proud of being bilingual. I speak German and English. I think it’s pretty cool to be able to communicate with two different languages. I was born in Germany, and I lived there till I was six. Now, I just speak German at home, and I go to German school every Saturday.”

Q: What’s an interesting/unique fact about yourself?
A: “I’m a vegetarian. I decided to become a vegetarian in fifth grade, because I just didn’t like to see animals being killed.”
