The U.S. figure skating championship this year will be held in Nashville, Tennessee from January 3-9.
The winners will have a chance to be selected for the 2022 World Championships, 2022 World Junior Championships, the 2022 Four Continents Championship, and the 2022 Winter Olympics.

To advance to nationals/world championships, Seniors must be in the top 5 for singles pairs and ice dance. Juniors must have the top 3 novice scores from singles Pairs must have the top 9 scores and ice dance for the top 12 scores.

Skating is a sport that isn’t as well known as football or basketball or soccer but when the US championship happens or the Olympics everyone tunes in to watch.
I myself am a skater and watching skating competitions this big make skaters proud because they bring recognition to the sport which is something it needs more.
