“Nancy Drew” has been a popular book series since the 1930s and is still widely read by many people. Ruth Bader Ginsberg, a Supreme Court justice who passed away a few years ago, has read this book series too, during her childhood. There are up to 56 original books in this series, but more have been made since. The author(s) of the book series is Carolyn Keene. Carolyn Keene is a pen name for the many authors who helped write the Nancy Drew book series.
This series is about an 18-year-old girl whose mother died when she was just three years old. Her father is a successful lawyer and she starts working as an amateur detective when her friend asks for help, solving a mystery. She has a trustworthy housekeeper who is just like her mother. There is so much to this book series. Friendship, romance, action, mystery, suspense, and much, much more. This series is about her adventures in solving the many cases in which her clients ask help for and Nancy Drew never disappoints them.
I rate this book series 4.5 out of 5 stars because I enjoyed the series. This book series made me love mystery books. “Nancy Drew” introduced me to mystery books, but there are too many books in the series that are pretty similar. Nancy Drew waits for the cases and solves them. You get kinda bored after you read 30 books in the series. Although it might be a bit too much, some people read the whole series, all 56 of them!
But no matter how many books are in this series, I love the story, characters, and the whole plot. Some so many twists and turns kept me on my toes while reading the books. I really enjoyed this book series and recommend it.
