Q: Tell us about yourself.
A: “My name is Violet. I am currently in the sixth grade, where I engage in diverse activities. I compete in piano competitions and also play the cello. Additionally, I am involved in figure skating. I love technology and I own a mini-poodle”
Q: What is the best part of your day at Clague?
A: “Honestly, I love fifth hour, but I also like passing time because I get to walk in the hallways with my friends.”
Q: What is your favorite hour of the day? Why do you like this hour?
A: “Depends, for class, probably Orchestra, because I love playing my instrument, but if the hour is based on time, fifth hour.”
Q: Who is your favorite teacher?
A: “I like all of my teachers if I had to choose, either Mr. Wiens because he gives mints or Mrs. Griesinger, because she is nice.”
Q: What is something you are proud of?
A: “My piano accomplishments, I won the Michigan Music Teachers Association Concerto Competitions in 2024 and 2022 second place. I’ve also won the Schoolcraft 2024 Sonatina/Sonata Festival.”
Q: Who do you sit with at lunch every day?
A: “All of my friends, Ceci, Anya, Rory, Aina, Aeda, Annabelle, Athena, Jessie, Isabella, Sana, and Elyse.”
Q: What book or book series do you like?
A: “I love to read, some series that inspire me are: I love most books by Raina Telemieger, I also love ‘Harry Potter,’ and I also enjoy reading ‘Babysitter’s Club.'”
Q: What is an interesting/unique fact about yourself?
A: “It’s not interesting but I own an overweight mini poodle named Dayana, she isn’t that smart, but I love her!”
Q: What hobbies/sports/clubs do you do and why do you like them?
A: “I do Cougar Star (newspaper club), figure skating at the Cube, piano and cello, tennis (occasionally) and I love art.”
Q: Who inspires you and why?
A: “This sounds weird, but probably any classical musician, I don’t have a specific person I look up to the most.”
Q: What do you dream of becoming when you grow up?
A: “My goal would either be a lawyer or a musician.”
Q: Is there a skill or talent you’re working on improving?
A: “My piano skills, or mainly music skills to become better at my instrument.”
