Q: Tell us a little about yourself.
A: “My name is Amelia Exume, and this year I found out that I am kind of good at sports. I also learned how to really take care of my curly hair.”

Q: What is your favorite class and why?
A: “What’s my favorite class? That’s a hard question because I like each of my classes for different reasons. I like choir because it wakes me up in the morning. I also like Mr. Bryan’s class because of how much information I learn and actually retain. I enjoy science when we do experiments. I like ELA because it’s a class all about books. My elective classes are fun because I get to use creative processing. And I like math because of Mr. Taylor’s dad jokes.”

Q: What hobbies/sports/clubs do you do, and why do you like them?
A: “I run track because when I run, I have this weird sense of calm, just like my grandpa did when he ran track. It helps me feel close to him.”

Q: What is something you’re proud of?
A: “I’m proud that for the first time in math I got an A and it was actually easy.”

Q: What is an interesting/unique fact about yourself?
A: “I’m ambidextrous– that means I can do stuff with both hands! I write with my left hand and I throw with my right.”
