Q: Tell us a little about yourself.
A:”I was born in China, and I moved to Germany when I was four months old. I lived there for eight years. And in 2019, I moved here.
Q: What was it like in Germany?
A: “It felt much safer because people are not allowed to use guns there. And the food’s much better.”
Q: Is it true that there is no speed limit in Germany?
A: “Yes, on some highways. They have signs where the speed limit is crossed off and you just see cars going 200 miles per hour zooming past you.”
Q: What is your favorite class and why?
A: “It’s probably world history. Because it’s Mr. Bryan and he’s just built different.”
Q: What hobbies/sports/clubs do you do and why do you enjoy them?
A: “So, I do go skiing a lot because I enjoy the cold and the speed. I also play tennis because I find the hitting satisfying. And as a club, I do Science Olympiad, in which I recently won a medal with Edwin Liang.”
Q: Where do you go skiing?
A: “I usually just go skiing at Mount Brighton. I do go to bigger ski resorts during the winter break.”
Q: What is something you are proud of?
A: “Being an Asian and I guess winning the President’s Volunteer Service Award.”
Q: What is an interesting/unique fact about yourself?
A: “So an interesting fact about me is that I speak three languages fluently. Because I speak German, whenever I write in English and there is a noun, I capitalize it.” (All nouns in German are capitalized)
