Q. Tell us a little bit about yourself.

A. I have been teaching in the Ann Arbor Public Schools for 21 years. I have worked at Clague (19 years), Slauson (1 year), and King (1 year). I love music, sports, cars, writing, and national parks. I am married (Mrs. Taylor is an advisor at U of M) with three sons (ages 11, 9, and 7).

Q. What has been your favorite part about this school year?

A. My favorite part about this school year has been making my students laugh (as always). I have enjoyed learning about technology and watching my students rise to meet every challenge.

Q. What do you miss about Clague?

A. I miss the staff and students dearly. I miss watching my students at games, concerts, and competitions. The thing I miss the most, however, is the energy that middle school students bring to the learning environment.

Q. What is one goal you have for this year?

A. My goal is to help each student realize that they are extremely important to our community.

Q. What is your favorite class and why?
A. I truly enjoy all of my classes. Each group brings something special that makes teaching the best profession on the planet.

Q. What hobbies/sports do you do?

A. I love cars (real ones and remote control ones). I enjoy writing, hiking (especially national parks), science, statistics, and playing percussion. My favorite sports are basketball, baseball, and track. If it involves playing outdoors with my family, I am all smiles.
