At 9:36 pm, the Ann Arbor Public Schools Board of Education announced the middle school hybrid-learning schedule.

Isha Savi, Staff Writer

Last night, the Ann Arbor Public Schools Board of Education was presented with the back-to-school hybrid schedule for middle schools.

This plan will tentatively begin on April 12 for middle schools.

Students will be divided into two different cohorts: Cohort 1 and Cohort 2. This will be  based on the first letter of their last name.

Cohorts are subject to change based on the school’s population.

Middle school students will attend in-person (based on their cohort) in the morning, to complete each of their blocks. Students will then go home for lunch — people who need lunches, will get them as they exit the building — and continue to finish each of their blocks remotely.

An email with more information will be sent to parents and guardians to choose if their student will stay virtual or go into the building. Regardless of a student’s choice, “roomies” and “zoomies” will have the same course schedule.

To learn more, Clague will have a webinar: Thursday, March 18, at 6 p.m. Check your email for the link.
