Jay Tavane, Social Media and Print Editor-in-Chief
Jay Tavane is an eighth grader at Clague Middle School, this is her third year doing The Cougar Star. She loves to paint, draw, and watch TV. Some of her fav shows are “Arcane” and “One Piece!” She plays the trumpet and is a part of BPA. She also has an older brother who is at Huron (Go River Rats!!!). She has two birds and dreams about getting a husky.
Annabella Mi, Website and Print Editor-in-Chief
Annabella is an eighth grader at Clague, and this is her third year in the Cougar Star! If missing, you could most likely find her on the couch online/window shopping, watching a cheesy rom-com (or her favorite movie, “Mr. Peabody and Sherman”), while biting into a crunchy snack.
Saanvi Kulkarni, Managing Editor
Saanvi is currently in eighth grade and this is her second year on the Cougar Star. She’s part of Science Olympiad, plays the piano and does karate. In her free time she likes to listen to music, read, and write. Saanvi’s favorite book, though it’s always changing, is “The Wrath & The Dawn” by Renee Ahdieh and her favorite ice cream flavor is Apple Pie A La Cold Stone from Cold Stone.
Sophia Alison Rustia, Design and Photo Editor
Sophia is currently in eighth grade and has been part of the Clague Publications for two years. Sophia plays the cello, piano, and does karate at PKSA Ann Arbor North. In her free time, she loves to bake, read, hang out with friends, and improve her photography skills. Sophia’s favorite movie is “The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes,” and her favorite flavor of ice cream is strawberry & cookies’n creme.
