Book I of The Phoenix Files is a great story, filled with mystery, adventure, and violence. The Phoenix Files: Danger, Arrival will appeal to Spy School readers and others who love action. The book is written by Chirs Morphew.
The plot starts when main character Luke is already having a bad day since his parents have just divorced. His mom takes him to some unknown town named Phoenix where he will attend Phoenix High School.
Luke meets Peter and they hit it off and become friends. Luke and Peter also meet a girl named Jordan. They talk about something weird (which I won’t spoil for those who want to read). Luke is given a flash drive file named “Jordan,” and Jordan gets a flash drive file named “Luke.” Peter pieces the flash drives together and it says something about the world ending.
Without giving too much away, the characters must go on a dangerous quest that takes readers into suspenseful situations.
I would rate The Phoenix Flies 4 out of 5 stars. Since the story ends on a cliffhanger, I will have to read Book II to give it a more complete rating.
