The yearly state tournament for Academic Games (AG) is taking place in March, competing to win and a chance to make it to nationals. Teams have been assigned to the groups and are preparing for the tournament coming up soon. The Clague AG teams will be divided into elementary and middle school teams. If the player is in sixth grade, they’ll still be considered elementary for AG because it’s their first year. If they’re in seventh or eighth grade, they’ll be considered middle school.
Elementary AG teams go to the state tournament from March 6 to March 8. There will be three teams competing for AG, and one team for Woof n’ Proof (WFF). Middle school AG teams go to states on March 13 to March 15. There will be five teams competing for AG, and two teams competing for WFF.
States will take place at Marriott Eagle Crest Resort, 1275 S Huron St, Ypsilanti, MI 48197. There will be a hotel to stay at, with three to four people per room for two nights. Elementary is staying from Thursday to Saturday, and Middle is also staying on the same days, just a week after.
