Lake Michigan has always been a beautiful place for the people who live in the state but did you know that it was ranked second best on Instagram for the most photogenic lake following lake Tahoe?

Research shows that many people on Instagram used a certain hashtag that involves Lake Michigan and when looking at the data you can see Lake Michigan is second!

With its beautiful blue water and an amazing shoreline. Clearly it makes sense why they got second!

Jay Tavane is an eighth grader at Clague Middle School, this is her third year doing The Cougar Star. She loves to paint, draw, and watch TV. Some of her fav shows are "Arcane" and "One Piece!" She plays the trumpet and is a part of BPA. She also has an older brother who is at Huron (Go River Rats!!!). She has two birds and dreams about getting a husky.
