Rina Shitani (she/her/hers) is an eighth grader at Clague Middle school, and this is her first year writing for the Cougar Star. Apart from Cougar Star, she also participates in the Clague Yearbook Club. She is hugely obsessed with writing and reading books; but other than that you could find her either listening to music, hanging out with her friends, playing bunch of definitely-wrong-sounding notes on her trumpet, or watching anime. She also have a great interest in scientific fields and fun facts, which she is planning to share with you!
