The Matthei Botanical Gardens are a great way to experience nature from all over the world here in Ann Arbor, the Matthei Botanical Gardens offer an amazing opportunity to experience nature from around the world right here in Ann Arbor. Some of the plants featured in the pictures below are from the conservatory, which is open daily from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., except on Mondays when it is closed. On Wednesdays, the conservatory has extended hours and is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Admission to the conservatory is free, that being said donations are greatly appreciated to help maintain the gardens.
In addition to showing a wide array of plants in the conservatory, the botanical gardens also provide peaceful nature trails that are open to the public 24/7, also completely free of charge.
