Full coverage of 5G signals has been in place at the National sliding Center and the National alpine skiing center. Both venues are set to host the alpine skiing, bobsleigh, skeleton, and luge competitions. Also, the China Media Group has launched CCTV-8K, an 8K ultra-high-definition TV channel, to broadcast Beijing 2022.

The 2022 Winter Olympics runs from February 4-20 in Beijing, China. It is the first city in Olympic history ever to host both Summer (Beijing 2008) and Winter (Beijing 2022) Olympic Games in the world.
For the first time, all the Beijing 2022 ice venues are 100% powered by green energy, with the ice-making technology adopted producing zero emissions. These ice venues use natural carbon dioxide cooling technology, helping to reduce energy consumption, waste discharge, and carbon emissions. The technology uses carbon dioxide to transfer and absorb heat in order to refrigerate and make ice, then using the heat to warm water and indoor spaces.
From venue construction to ecological restoration, from food, clothing, housing and transportation, logistics support to epidemic prevention and medical care, travel and transportation, the 2022 Winter Olympics is looking to be a grand event of technological innovations.
